Keith Jackson and our very own Mickey Demos are the trainers of the new, official University of Miami Boxing Club. It’s a club very close to our heart here at Biscayne Boxing and Fitness: Before the Committee on Student Organizations (COSO) along with the Federation of Club Sports Officers admitted the boxing club into its roster of student organizations and club sports earlier this month, the Club’s student boxers met up here to train under Mickey’s guidance.
Gym owner Thomas Tew is Florida Collegiate Boxing Conference President and his dream is for UM boxers to spar in matches with other collegiate teams across the state and maybe even at the National level.
