CLASS SCHEDULE

We offer a wide range of classes and training programs designed to meet the needs of people from all walks of life.

 

Please note that all of our classes and programs, including our non-boxing, are strenuous, as we have captured the intensity and enthusiasm of the professional boxing gym. However, although we want you to train like a pro, our programs are geared towards the business professional’s lifestyle. That means you won’t have to quit your day job to be able to train, or get a second job to be able to afford it.

The classes and training will push you hard. However, please note that you do not have to be in great shape to join the gym! Our job is to get you in shape and keep you there. There will be no beginners’ classes. You simply have to do your best. Our instructors are trained to pay attention to the individuals in class, gage where he or she is in terms of fitness and or existing injuries, and to treat them accordingly. The bottom line is—don’t be intimidated. We want you to do your very best, but we want you to have fun too. We also take into consideration that getting a black eye won’t go over too well either at home or at the office. We want you to drip sweat, not blood!

BOXING

(AEROBIC & SCULPTING BOXING, CARDIO KICKBOXING, BOOT CAMP)

These classes are a lot of fun. They are taught by real fighters to music driven by a state-of-the-art club sound system. However, thinking of these classes as typical aerobics classes is a big mistake! The classes are designed to strengthen and sculpt the entire body and increase flexibility in addition to burning calories and promoting stamina. Furthermore, all the moves are real boxing moves, thereby teaching the student the fundamentals of boxing and advanced footwork. Some of the classes also include aerobic weight training, jump roping, spinning (box and spin), and plain old fashioned roadwork (running!). Classes are one hour with abs and stretching constituting the last 15 minutes.

 

SPINNING

Spinning is an important part of our gym. It offers an alternative type of training to those who want to get in shape but aren’t interested in boxing. Therefore we have built a sound resistant glass-walled spinning center with its own high end sound system and featuring 32 Race Trac stationary spin bikes. Spinning is great exercise especially for the lungs and legs. And it burns tremendous calories (up to 500 calories a class). Another benefit of spinning is that it requires less coordination than your typical aerobic class. It is hard but not hard to do.
